Erin Phillips has underwent surgery, out for a month

Wisla Can-Pack Krakow today announced that Erin Phillips has underwent arthroscopic surgery and will rehab for 3-4 weeks.

Phillips played for Krakow unhealthy for the first part of the season and decided to undergo surgery after consultation upon returning home to Australia.

Surgery was performed on December 22 at the Australian Institute of Sport, which is where Lauren Jackson went at the end of 2010 to repair her Achilles.

Phillips will stay and rehab there through mid January.
