Your weekly round-up of games in Polish PLKK.
Round 24′s main event was the battle between CCC Polkowice and Lotos Gdynia for 2nd spot before the playoffs and very likely HCA in semifinal. After a great game it was Valeria Musina’s go-ahead bucket with 15s to go and a block from Jantel Lavender to deny Jolene Anderson’s response that gave CCC the road win and secured no2 seed. As a consolation prize the weekly MVP honours went to Anderson with a 32-point 9rebs performance.

Trivia:
Use the force: Three teams used full roster this round – Wisła using 12 and Lider and Rybnik with 11 players. Pruszków even made all of them run for at least 10 minutes. Two of three teams got points from all their players. All teams won – go figure.
Laurie Koehn’s watch: 2/5, yawn. Jolene Anderson went 6/10 – go practice.
Fire in the hole! Both CCC and Lotos went >50% from long range, with CCC hitting 8/12 3pts at halftime. “6,75m line is too far” anyone?
