Round 26 in Polish PLKK

Your weekly round-up of games in Polish PLKK, regular season awards and playoff brackets.

Last round was to have no meaning at all but it’s sport. After a hard fight Nicole Powell led Wisła past Zoll-less CCC in the prestigue only battle at the top, but magic things happened in Poznań. Two worst league teams both prevailed with playoff teams – Lotos and Gorzów respectively. All that shook up the brackets a little, but one thing is pretty much consistant this season – it’s Geraldine Robert earning her fifth MVP honours.

Om nom nom nom: Maybe 17 boards ain’t a record for Geraldine Robert, but 11 offensive grabs are just eating your opponents alive. Did I mention she’s 6’1″?!
It’s a kind of magic: To switch places Gorzów (no6) had to loose vs.MUKS (13) and Lider (7) had to win vs Rybnik (5) by more than 20. Well, things happen.
