Tulsa Shock have announced they have signed former UConn point guard Lorin Dixon and waived center Abi Olajuwon.
As a senior in 2010-11 at the University of Connecticut, Dixon appeared in 32 games and averaged 2.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 29.4 minutes a game.
The Shock also waived Abi Olajuwon. Olajuwon appeared in 15 games for the Shock during the 2011 season.
In the year after graduation, Dixon hasn’t played pro basketball anywhere that we know of. Plus she’s 5’4″ (1.62m) – Tulsa already have 5’3″ Temeka Johnson under contract as well as 5’6” Ivory Latta.
