Russian giants UMMC Ekaterinburg have signed Polish center Ewelina Kobryn for the upcoming season, LWB has learned.
Apart from a couple of months with Seattle Storm last summer, this will be the first season she plays outside of Poland where she had played for Lotos Gdynia and Wisla Can-Pack.
During the last couple of weeks her name has been mentioned with a couple of teams around the Europe.
In her last season with Wisla Can-Pack she averaged 13.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in EuroLeague Women and 14.4 and 6.5 rebounds per game in Polish league.
For the summer Kobryn is under contract with Seattle Storm which likely means she will not help Polish NT in EuroBasket Women 2013 qualifiers.
