According to La Voix Des Sports (via catch&shoot), Slovenian center Sandra Pirsic will continue her career with Villeneuve d’Ascq in France.
Pirsic transfered from Ibiza to Rivas Ecopolis in the middle of last season. With Rivas she was very useful coming off the bench during their run to EuroLeague Women final.
In 11 ELW games she averaged 4.2 points and 3 rebounds per game in 13 minutes per game. In Spanish league she averaged 8.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game with Ibiza and 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds with Rivas.
Pirsic is currently among Slovenian NT candidates as they prepare for EuroBasket Women 2013 qualification.
