Tangela Smith undergoes arthroscopic surgery, out indefinately

Silver Stars center Tangela Smith underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery on her left knee Thursday, May 31 in San Antonio. As a result, Smith will be sidelined indefinitely and will be re-evaluated weekly.

Acquired in a trade with the Indiana Fever during the 2011-12 offseason, Smith played in two games for the Silver Stars this season. She did not play in the home opener against Chicago on Wednesday.
