Emma Meesseman to play for Villeneuve d’Ascq the next two seasons

French club Villeneuve d’Ascq have announced that Emma Meesseman will represent their team for the next two seasons.

Meesseman signed a four year deal with Sparta&K Moscow Region earlier this week, but opted to stay near home to finish studies. She’s expected to join Sparta&K after the two seasons in France are over.

19 year old center played last season in Belgium with Crack Blue Cats Ieper. There she averaged 19.4 points (59% 2p) and 9.3 rebounds per game in the Belgian league and 14.8 points (46% 2p) and 8.6 rebounds per game in EuroCup Women.
