Three Stars: Charles, Prince lead their teams to victories

LWB’s three stars from last day’s WNBA action.

1st star: Tina Charles, Connecticut Sun
Charles recorded her 50th career double-double by scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. She did it in 76 games – the fastest ever in the WNBA to that mark.

2nd star: Epiphanny Prince, Chicago Sky
Prince continues to be on a hot streak as her 26 points helped the Sky defeat Liberty and remain tied on top of Eastern conference standings with the Sun.

3rd star: Kara Lawson, Connecticut Sun
Lawson was 5 from 5 behind the arc. That amounted to 500$ donation to Pat Summit Foundation (100$ per made shot). Lawson finished the game with 21 points.

Honorable mentions
Fowles recorded a double-double 10 points and 12 rebounds, she leads the league this season in double-doubles… Tamera Young scored 12 points from the bench, matching 12 points from the whole Liberty bench… Asjha Jones scored 15 points in the first quarter, she finished with 17.

Dishonorable mentions
Leilani Mitchell was 1 from 9 from the field against Sky… Lindsay Harding was 2 from 14 from the field… Angel McCoughtry continues to have a strangle hold on leagues lead in turnovers by committing 8 more against Sun.
