Spisska Nova Ves, newcomer in Slovak Extraliga, signed Czech forward Romana Stehlikova.
Although, besides Stehlikova Spissa Nova Ves brought in American Jade Smith-Williams and Maltese Josephine Grima, the 26-year-old Czech forward seems to be the greatest strengthening of the team. The former player of Trutnov and Frisco Sika Brno participated in EuroLeague previous five years. In her first EuroLeague season (2007-2008) Brno even reached finals where they lost to Spartak Moscow Region. Definitely, Stehlikova brings valuable experiences to her new team.
Previous season Stehlikova averaged 3,6 points and 2,1 rebounds per game in EuroLeague. In Czech ZBL she had 6,8 points and 3,8 rebounds per game.
