Australia go 2-0 against Brazil, Russia fall to Latvian male student team

Australia currently are in the midst of three “Farewell” series games against Brazilian NT.

They have claimed wins in the first two games having led in both by double digits. In the first one Australians used a very strong second half to blow past Brazil for a 21 point win. In the second one they had a 22 point lead in the fourth quarter which they blew in the final four minutes so the outcome was a mere 7 point win. Game three will be played on Thursday.

Russians meanwhile are having a training camp in Jurmala, Latvia where they played first of two games against Riga Stradins University men’s team and suffered a defeat in a close encounter. The second game will also be played on Thursday.
