1st star: Kristi Toliver, Los Angeles Sparks
Toliver led the Sparks with 29 points, while also tying a WNBA record with most three pointers made (6), while missing none (via Paul Swanson). She’s tied with Maya Moore and Tamika Catchings. Toliver also had 6 assists, 4 of them to Parker.
2nd star: Candace Parker, Los Angeles Sparks
Parker scored 28 points on 8 from 13 shooting from the game and 12 from 17 shooting from the freethrow line. She also grabbed 13 rebounds.
3rd star: Becky Hammon, San Antonio Silver Stars
Becky Hammon scored 14 of her 19 points in the second half as San Antonio Silver Stars came back from being down 18 points to the Fever and win by 16.
Honorable mentions
Seimone Augustus had 18 points for the Lynx on 7 from 12 shooting… Jia Perkins scored 17 points, including 3 from 4 behind the arc… Tamika Catchings had 17 points, 15 boards and 4 assists.
Dishonorable mentions
Katie Douglas went cold in the second half, finishing the game with 19 points on 6 from 21 shooting… Erin Phillips sustained a concussion after taking elbow to the head and didn’t return to the game… Taj McWilliams-Franklin was dismal with 2 from 9 shooting… Tammy Sutton-Brown missed all three shots and grabbed just one rebound in 25 minutes of action… Shameka Christon continues to remain cold – she was 1 from 6 against Fever.
