1st star: Asjha Jones, Connecticut Sun
In Connecticut’s final game before the break Asjha Jones scored 22 points on 10 from 21 shooting and pulled down 9 rebounds as Connecticut defeated the awful Washington Mystics.
2nd star: Sancho Lyttle, Atlanta Dream
Lyttle led the Atlanta Dream to their victory against Seattle Storm, while still playing without Angel McCoughtry. Lyttle finished the game with game high 21 points.
3rd star: Danielle Robinson, San Antonio Silver Stars
Robinson had 16 points on 6 from 9 shooting from the field to go with her 4 steals.
Honorable mentions
Shay Murphy was a bright spot for the Sky in a pretty bad game, she finished with 20 points… Sophia Young had 16 points for San Antonio… Shekinna Stricklen set a new career record with 16 points for Seattle… Harding, Hayes and Price each scored in double digits for the Dream… Crystal Langhorne was 9 from 12 from the field for 19 points.
