Israeli club Hapoel Galil Elyon has announced signings of three American first year professionals – guard Sydney Carter and forwards Adaora Elonu and Christina Flores.
Carter and Elonu have graduated Texas A&M while Flores comes from 4 years in Missouri.
Carter was drafted in the WNBA in the third round by Chicago Sky (27th overall pick), Flores was drafted three picks later (30th overall) by Phoenix Mercury. Neither made it past training camp in the WNBA, although Carter was picked up by the Chicago Sky for a week and she even appeared in one game before being waived.
Carter at Texas A&M averaged 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
Elonu in 138 games with Texas A&M averaged 8.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals.
Christine Flores averaged 11 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.7 blocks for Missouri.
