Tamika Catchings signs with Guangdong Dolphins in China

Reigning WNBA MVP has signed to play for Guangdong Dolphins for the upcoming season, her agency has confirmed.

Last season Dolphins employed another US National Team forward Swin Cash.

Catchings meanwhile took the season off to rehab injury she sustained in WNBA Eastern conference finals against Atlanta Dream.

In the season she earned her first WNBA MVP title she averaged 18.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2 steals per game.

Her most recent stint outside of USA was in 2011 when she played a couple of months for Galatasaray in Turkey.
