Kibirkstis-Tiche-IKI sign Vita Kuktiene, re-sign Kristina Vengryte

Lithuanian EuroCup Women side Kibirkstis-Tiche-IKI has announced they have re-signed power forward Kristina Vengryte and signed veteran power forward Vita Kuktiene.

Vengryte was among the leading scorers in Lithuanian league last season with 15.3 points per game. She also averaged 4.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game. This summer she made her second appearance for the Lithuanian NT, averaging 3.3 points and 2 rebounds as Lithuania qualified for EuroBasket Women 2013.

Soon to be 32 year old forward Kuktiene had spent most of her career with TEO/VICI until now when VICI haven’t been able to collect funding to participate in any international competitions. Last season in EuroLeague Women Kuktiene averaged 11.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
