Round-up of action in the ninth day of the European U18 Championships in divisions A and B.

Division A

France and Russia were the least surprising teams to advance to the semifinals and clinch a spot in U19 World Championships in 2013. Netherlands defeating Turkey in double overtime and Serbia ousting Spain can be considered as surprises.

In the relegation round Czech Republic are now one win away from clinching a place in Division A, while the defending champions Belgium will be relegated to Division B.
