Lyon sign Romy Bar, Melanie Plust and Emilija Podrug

Three more players have joined Lyon from the bankrupt Challes-les-Eaux – the team has announced (via catch&shoot) the signings of German forward Romy Bar, French forward Melanie Plust and Croatian forward Emilija Podrug.

They will join four other teammates from last season who had signed earlier – Mistie Mims, Sara Chevaugeon, Alexia Plagnard and Danielle Page.

German forward last season for Challes averaged 9.1 points, 3.4 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game. In June and July she was the leading German player on the National Team – she led the team in points (14), rebounds (7.5), assists (3.8) and steals (3.1).

Experienced Croatian forward averaged 11.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in LFB last season.

22 year old Plust was modest last season, averaging 4.4 points, 1.2 assists and 1.7 rebounds per game.
