Los Angeles Sparks have announced they have signed guard Dawn Evans. While the term of the contract wasn’t revealed it should be a seven day contract as Jenna O’Hea is expected to join the team in a week or two.
The 5’7” guard played in three preseason games with the Connecticut Sun this season. At James Madison University, she averaged 21.4 points and 4.5 assists per game for her career and was named the CAA Conference Player of the Year in her senior season, while also being named an All-American Honorable Mention. Evans led her Dukes to two straight CAA titles in 2010 and 2011.
