European U20 Championship Division B – Day Four

Greece and Hungary remain undefeated while Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium and Romania are also in the hunt for a top three finish.

Greece is very near to advancing to division A in 2013 after their claimed their fourth win by handing Germany their first loss of the tournament. Artemis Spanou poured 25 points for Greece. Romania have claimed their second consecutive victory to remain their hopes alive. Cristina Bigica scored 22 points and pulled down 9 rebounds for Romania, while Bar Galinski had 25 points and 12 rebounds for Israel.

Hungary are undefeated after a narrow win in a low scoring game against Bulgaria. Anna Mansare was the top scorer for Hungary, also scoring the game winning shot with 2,5 minutes remaining. Belgium are still in the hunt after a win against the winless Switzerland.
