Israeli champions Maccabi Ashdod have announced they have signed American forward Danielle Adams for the upcoming season.
Adams is expected to replace Plenette Pierson on the squad next season. Pierson averaged 15.3 points and 8 rebounds last season with the team.
Adams, a second round pick by the San Antonio Silver Stars, is currently averaging 11.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in the WNBA.
Last season she signed with Italian team GMA Pozzouli, but she barely played with the team, being injured for most of the season.
