European U20 Championship Division A – Day Three of Relegation Round

Italy is in drivers seat of relegation after winning their first three games.

Italy led by as much as 15 points before they lost the lead later in the third quarter. Holding Latvia to 2 points in the final 2:48 of regulation allowed Italy to get the win. Dotto twins led the way for Italy – Francesca had 13 points, Carolina – 11.

Daniela Domingues had 20 points, Victoria Pecheco added 12 as Portugal handed Great Britain their third loss.

Italian victory against Portugal and Great Britain would guarantee them a place in division A while Portugal, Latvia and Great Britain would be relegated to division B.
