Chicago Sky dropped their 12th of their last 13 games as they fell to Angel McCoughtry’less Atlanta Dream.
McCoughtry didn’t play in the game due to personal reason, although that didn’t forbid her to be honored before the game as a member of USA NT and it wasn’t like she left the game afterwards as she was watching the whole game from the stands, cross court from the Sky bench.
Chicago Sky’s Epiphanny Prince’s rolled ankle wasn’t too serious so she was able to start the game, but was limited to just 17 minutes.
Dream stormed out to a 17 point first half lead, the Sky cut that down to 3 by the mid-fourth quarter. But that was it as the Sky were unable to consistently get the ball to Sylvia Fowles and none of the wings had a hot night.
Chicago Sky – Atlanta Dream 71-82
Sky: Fowles 22, Cash 19, Murphy 10
Dream: Lyttle 24, Hayes 18, Price 14, Harding 13
