Italian club Cras Taranto has announced they have sold Giorgia Sottana to Famila Schio.
Sottana’s contract allowed it in case if Taranto are not able to play in international competitions.
In June and July Sottana led Italy to EuroBasket Women 2013 qualification with 13 points, 3.9 assists and 2 rebounds per game.
Sottana last season with Taranto averaged 9.8 points, 2.2 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game in Italian league, helping Taranto claim the title against Schio. In ELW she averaged 9.2 points, 2.2 assists and 1.4 rebounds.
She moved to Taranto during the last summer after having spent all of her previous career with Umana Reyer Venezia.
