Le Mura Lucca sign Francesca Dotto, re-sign Marie Ruzickova

Italian club Le Mura Lucca has announced they’ve signed 19 years young Italian guard Francesca Dotto and re-signed Slovak center Marie Ruzickova.

Dotto proved to be one of the top Italian youngsters, leading Italian U20 NT earlier in August with 10.2 points, 2.9 steals per game, also averaging 2.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in the European U20. Italy were able to secure a top 13 finish to remain in Division A. Dotto last season played in second Italian league for Fila San Martino Di Lupari. There she averaged 8.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.

Marie Ruzickova returns to Le Mura Lucca after playing for the team last season. Before that she had played in France for Perpignan and Challes. Last season in A1 she averaged 8.7 points and 5 rebounds per game.

Le Mura Lucca finished fourth last season in the Italian A1 league.
