CUS Cagliari sign Swedes Elin Eldebrink and Louice Halvarsson

Italian club CUS Cagliari has announced the signing of two Swedish players – guard Elin Eldebrink and center Louice Halvarsson.

Eldebrink joins the Italian side from Czech Republic where she played with her sister Frida on USK Praha. There she averaged 2.1 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Eldebrink also played on Swedish NT, helping them qualify for EuroBasket Women 2013 with 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

Halvarsson joins Cagliari from another Italian club – Bracco Geas. There she averaged 10 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. She was the second leading scorer on Swedish NT with 15.5 points per game and was the leading rebounder with 7.5 rebounds per game.
