Rimantas Grigas to continue coaching Belorussian National Team in EuroBasket Women 2013

Chairman of Belorussian Basketball Federation Viktor Kamenkov today met with Lithuanian head coach Rimantas Grigas, who coached the Belorussian NT to a place in EuroBasket Women 2013.

During the meet both sides agreed to extend the contract on the same terms for Grigas to coach the NT in EuroBasket Women 2013 in France.

Grigas was appointed the head coach at the start of this year after Anatoly Buyalski decided to not extend his stay with the NT.

Belarus qualified for EuroBasket Women 2013 by topping group A with 6 wins and 2 losses.

Grigas isn’t coaching in club level after UMMC kept neither him, nor Algirdas Palauskas.
