According to French newspaper La Voix du Nord (via Catch&Shoot), EuroLeague Women newcomers Arras will have to do without Ukrainian forward Olesia Malashenko who has been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis on her foot.
She could be out of action anywhere from 2 to 6 months. As replacement for her Arras are set to bring in Serbian forward Ines Ajanovic.
Ajanovic started last season in Poland with Lotos Gdynia and finished it in Italy with Pool Comense. In 17 games in Italy she averaged 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. In EuroLeague Women with Gdynia she averaged 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Season for Arras is set to start on September 22 with the Open LFB.
