Club Atletico Faenza re-sign Lavinia Santucci and sign Candice Bellocchio

Italian club Club Atletico Faenza has announced the signings of Italian forward Lavinia Santucci and American guard with Italian passport Candice Bellocchio.

Our earlier report based on basketinside.com report of Santucci signing with Cras Taranto apparently has turned out incorrect.

Last season at Faenza Santucci averaged 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds. This summer with the Italian NT she averaged 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, helping Italy qualify for EuroBasket Women 2013.

Candice Bellocchio has just finished her studies at Hofstra University. There she averaged 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. During the summer she obtained Italian citizenship due to all of her grandparents from both mother’s and father’s side of family being Italian. Bellocchio has signed for two seasons with Faenza.
