Slovak champions Good Angels Kosice have announced the signing of American forward Plenette Pierson for the upcoming season.
Pierson is the first American to be signed for Kosice, so there’s place for one more.
She spent last couple of seasons between Israel and Turkey. Last season she became Israeli champion with Maccabi Ashdod. In Israeli league she averaged 15.3 points, 8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
Pierson became a 2 time WNBA champion with the Detroit Shock. This season she’s playing with New York Liberty and is currently averaging 12.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
This will be her debut in EuroLeague Women.
