Australian WNBL team Sydney Uni Flames has announced the signing of American wing April Sykes.
For Sykes this will be her first pro season outside of USA. During the spring she graduated from Rutgers where in her senior year she averaged 13 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
She was a third round WNBA draft pick (28th overall) by the Los Angeles Sparks. Having survived the training camp she’s currently averaging 3.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game having made 28 appearances this season.
