San Antonio Silver Stars were awful for about 30 minutes, which was enough for their season to end. Still they didn’t go down easily as the hosts were able to erase a 22 point deficit with 3 minutes remaining. In the remaining time Candace Parker scored 7 points by herself while the Silver Stars had 4. Parker finished the game with 32 points.
New York started their elimination game against the Sun with a 12-0 run. At the start of second quarter the lead reached 16 points. Unfortunately, a Sun comeback was very predictable and they took their first lead in the middle of the third quarter. Game was close until Connecticut closed out the game with a 14-0 run to clinch a place in the conference finals. Tina Charles led all scorers with 25 points, also adding 14 rebounds.
