First of all – don’t be fooled. Round 4 is rescheuled for December, so we’re up-to-date. Leah Metcalf (ROW) came soo close on a triple double, but the star of round 5 undoubtedly was Julie McBride, who had a lot of extra time to score 34pts and dish 11 dimes while her Artego finally beat ROW after a second overtime. She also had Charity Szczechowiak to help, who came up with a monster 20-20 game, and that duo have also led Artego pass Widzew with similar effects. They start to look as a MVP pair just like John&Karl once did.
There are more bad news about ROW Rybnik, than just a lost game. Seems like Leah Metcalf, Mercedes Walker and all their teammates may have to look for another gig somewhere else. Roumors say, the team might fold from the league entirely, stay tuned for updates about that. From new signings Brainna Gilbreath has joined Lider and should add something to their firepower.

Fun facts:
Another brick in the wall: AZS Rzeszów and CCC were extremely slow with collecting points. 80 in total for both teams, 11 i total in 2nd quarter. Yawn!
I want a whole hour: Julie McBride with her stunning performance against ROW spent the full 50 minutes on the floor. Good for her it ended after 2ndOT…
Another brick in the wall part II: Three team results below 40pts in recent 2 rounds. That’s just pathetic shooting, get it together girls!
