SK BD Rucon Spisska Nova Ves has received a verbal agreement of 29-year-old Slovak guard Ivana Jalcova. Jalcova began the season at Euroleague Women club CCC Polkowice, but she didn’t participate in any of the team’s games this season due to an Achilles injury.

Contract with CCC Polkowice was terminated upon a mutual agreement.

With Spisska Nova Ves she will continue to recover from the Achilles injury and could remain with the team for the whole season if no better options present themselves by December.

Last season she advanced to Euroleague Women Final Eight with Familia Schio.

During the summer, Jalcova helped Slovak NT to qualify for EuroBasket Women 2013. She averaged 10,1 points and 4,1 rebounds per game.

With Spisska Nova Ves the former player of Good Angels Kosice is going to participate in CEWL.
