Five of the six ZBL games were played this weekend with the one involving USK Praha, who are currently in Ekaterinburg, postponed to October 25.
Three point shooting (9 from 22 behind the arc) gave BLK VSE Praha a win against Strakonice. Darina Johnova was responsible for 4 three pointers herself. She finished the game with 20 points. Ambrosia Anderson picked up a double-double 27 points and 12 rebounds as Kara Trutnov ousted Karlovy Vary.
Veteran Petra Reisingerova recorded her second double-double of the season as VS Praha easily dispatched the league worst Pardubice. 4 others VS Praha players scored in double digits. Darina Misurova’s three pointer with 9 seconds remaining in regulation secured a one point win for Sokol Hradec Kralove against VALOSUN KP Brno.
Farhiya Abdi and Tereza Peckova each had 22 points as BK IMOS Brno defeated Slovanka MB by more than 30 points.
Update: ZVVZ USK Praha destroyed DSK Basketball in their postponed game on October 25. Jelena Dubljevic had 19 points and 13 boards in USK’s 42 point win.
