Second Lattes Montpellier player in two weeks has nabbed the LWB POW award as Edwige Lawson-Wade‘s 32 point and 6 assist night takes the week 2.
This either speaks volumes of the amount of talent this squad has or the lack of consistency throughout this team for them to need to have someone with a 30+ point night to bail them out of trouble weekly.
19 of her points came in 4th quarter and OT as Montpellier ousted Vologda-Chevakata.
Honorable mentions:
Anais Le Gluher-Cano – had it not been for OT in Montpellier, Gluher-Cano would have very likely taken the honors with her 27 point night against one of the favorites for ECW – Dynamo Moscow.
Milica Dabovic – outside of 29 points against VS Prague, she also had, what some would consider evil, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 turnovers.
Katharina Fikiel – don’t care very much for the efficiency rating, but upon a quick look, Fikiel might have had the best one in week 2 with 10 of 12 shooting , 8 rebounds and 3 assists.
Jolene Anderson – 22 points on 9 of 13 shooting, combined with 6 rebounds and 6 assists could be the best game Anderson will have this whole season.
Shay Doron – Doron hit her stride at the end of the game as Ramla came back to win against Ruzomberok. She finished the game with 22 points, forcing almost half of the fouls Ruzomberok committed.
