Romanian ELW club CSM Targoviste has announced the arrival of 3 new players, departure of 5 and no coaching changes.

The three new arrivals are wing Matee Ajavon, guard Jori Davis and forward Ashley Walker.

Ajavon and Walker last season played in Turkey. Ajavon for TED Ankara, Walker for Ceyhan. Ajavon averaged 11.8 points, Walker – 16.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.

Davis last season played in Israel for Hapoel Rishon Lezion where she averaged 16.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Natalie Novosel’s, Monique Currie’s and Milka Bjelica’s contracts ran out at the break and contracts with Elina Babkina and Chioma Nnamaka were terminated.

The oddest part is head coach George Dikeoulakos remaining at the post after he said goodbye to Romania on his Facebook account and linked to a Greek story of him leaving the team.

      LMAO!!!

Signing of Matee and Walker is not bad. Are they really making that much less then the other players?

  • efendihim

All Greeks are liars:) Very strange that Babkina has moved to Prague!

    • Potential

We’ll see some interesting developments on this crazy situation soon. No one will hire them both ever again, they’ve made fools of themselves by claiming that any who said they were in a relationship were wrong, while all team mates saw exactly the opposite, which was evident on the floor and off.

  • Potential

They lied to get rid of the people who were dead weight, including the worlds best PG, Babuchka! They have money, they were over paying certain players and they were all signed by a single agent- please note that NONE of the new players came from the agent who supplied all players to the team in the beginning of season.
