Olimpia Grodno win Belorussian title in the deciding fifth game

bbf logoOlimpia won the series deciding fifth game and were crowned Belorussian league champions.

Nadezhda Drozd scored 20 points in the second half to carry Olimpia to the win. In the game she was 7 of 10 from behind the arc (and 1/8 from inside the arc) for a total of 33 points. Maria Filonchyk and Lyubov Alyoshkina combined for 28 rebounds – the same amount Cmoki had as a team.

First half was played evenly. Olimpia had the momentum in the second half which they led in it’s entirety, with biggest lead being 11 points. Zhanna Gorodetskaya led Cmoki with 19 points.
